Conscious and Sustainable Skincare from HEATH

In a world where we are forced to navigate the harm and lack of sustainability efforts from most brands, we wanted to spotlight HEATH – a rising skincare company with consciousness at its core.

Founded by Harry Aaronson, the brand prides itself on vegan products and sugar cane packaging. For the holiday season they have also launched a refillable daily-use product for their 2-in-1 showergel / shampoo, with one bottle that can be reused to reduce waste and a scrubber to care for your skin.

The revitalising hair and body wash features bergamot, grapefruit, and lemon, enriched with ginseng and caffeine to provide an immediate boost and is designed to stimulate, cleanse and energise. It is also now available at Boots!

We love testing HEATH products, and appreciate the mostly cruelty-free approach that they have. All of the products are made locally in England, and powered by only the strongest active ingredients. The products themselves are free from parabens, sulphates and microbeads, and suitable for vegans and not tested on animals.

However, we will note that it is disappointing to see the promotion of non-vegan items such as eggs, mussels and dairy based pastries in the lifestyle content on their social media – hopefully they will follow their own philosophies and cease to promote animal cruelty completely in the near future.

For a reminder of what happens to the innocent animals in the dairy, fish, egg, and meat industries, we recommend that you watch Dominion, narrated by Joaquin Phoenix and Sia, and to better understand the philosophies of harm reduction, you can read Manifesting A Vegan Future.
