Ozzient recruits KiERAN, Essay M and Kay9 for assertive and relatable new single, Reminiscin’

Superstar producer Ozzient is back with a brand new collaborative single called Reminiscin’, so naturally we were intrigued and couldn’t wait to listen and share our every thought!

The opus kicks off a cerebral guitar soundscape with spoken word sharing the wise philosophy that “sometimes memories are good and sometimes they’re bad…”

Reminiscin’ goes on to take us on an evocative journey as KiERAN delivers impactful and thought-provoking prose, with an assertive and conscious delivery, something that we have come to love from Ozzient‘s releases.

We learn that the song is about “a breakup and having to deal with a heartache. Reminiscing of that one person who you thought was going to be the special one. [It’s about] relationship problems, which is something that pretty much everyone goes through, something that’s very relatable to all of us.”

Essay M goes on to grab the mic and shares a memorable hook of the track, before the second verse is delivered by Kay9. Elaborating on his sonic intention, Ozzient tells us, “I decided to make a beat that would have some sort of nostalgic/reminiscing sound to it.”

The production is immaculate and we love the bubbling bass that purrs throughout the song in a very dimensional and dynamic manner. The words shared by the artists are relatable, and we are equally in awe of the speed of the flow exhibited by the rappers.

Overall, Reminiscin’ holds a relatable and empowering energy, and we are here for it. We have added the track to our New Music Spotlight playlist, as well as our brand new TRIPPY and TIMELESS playlists, whilst we continue to stream Ozzient‘s growing discography!
