Dr. Sounds introduces us to alter ego Alecca with captivating and cosmic opus, Astralnaut

We recently featured Dr. Sounds for his expansive and immersive ode to the element of water with the transcendental composition, Aquaflow, and we were subsequently inspired to dig into the visionary producer’s discography on a deeper level, in turn discovering, Astralnaut.

The Swedish composer, also known as Alexander Forselius, kicks off Astralnaut with a luscious synthscape, which feels healing and meditative, in line with his overarching creative intention.

The frequency is nothing short of divine, as we are drawn into the creator’s celestial and indeed astral energy. Psychedelic nuance captivates us further as we realize the immense power that Dr. Sounds‘ universe holds.

Speaking on the release, Dr. Sounds simply says, “Not everybody can be an astronaut but everybody can be an astralnaut through this soothing sound.”

Astralnaut comes with a cerebral visual, which we learn that “from a futuristic perspective” is about “the spiritual experience of the absence of attachment to a parent during his first year in an Romanian orphanage”. This in turn lays the foundation for the creator’s LGBTQI identity and alter ego as the woman “Alecca”.

We are in awe of the dimensionality that Dr. Sounds holds, and have added Astralnaut to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our brand new TRIPPY playlist, whilst we immerse ourselves further in his compositions.
