Gary Dranow shares his intentional and philosophical nature with new single, The Cry of War

Setting the tone with a dramatic and intense guitar soundscape, Gary Dranow opens The Cry of War with a bolder energy than we have previously experienced from the dimensional artist.

Conceptual and metaphorical lyricism follows as the Park City based star shares his universe with us. We appreciate the assertive and thought-provoking nature of the opus, as well as the range that Gary and his co-creators demonstrate with the composition. He tells us, “The song was inspired by the unconditional patriotism of the Ukraine people as Putin attacks them for only greed and power.”

Of course, the guitar performances are out of this world, something we have come to expect from Gary Dranow, but would never take for granted.

Speaking on the message of The Cry of War, Gary adds, “This song chronicles the Ukrainian people’s fight against tyranny and the right for self-governance.”

He adds, “In the final verse, not only do the Ukrainian’s prevail but the Russian people as a consequence to Ukraine’s victory, rise up and over throw Putin and his cronies and become a fledgling democracy!”

We are in love with the intentional nature of the anthemic track, and have added The Cry of War to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we anticipate the song’s release in Ukraine next month, and continue to stream Gary Dranow‘s exquisite discography.
