In July we featured Josh Tepper as he tapped into his spiritual essence with the emotive single, Guide Me Meron, so when we heard that the star had also released an Acapella version of the moving ode, we were curious to say the least!
The Acapella version of Guide Me Meron features luscious vocal harmonies and intricate echoes as Josh showcases his vocal prowess and emotional depth with the opus.
We are hypnotized by the authenticity that Josh Tepper conveys with the Acapella rendition of the song, along with his magnetic range which draws us into every note.
His message comes to life in such a profound manner with this version, and needless to say, we are totally in awe. We can only imagine the doors for remixing that this opens for Josh, as his vocal stems are nothing short of majestic.
With reference to the back story of the song, Josh reminds us, “Mount Meron is a mountain in the Upper Galilee region of Israel. It has special significance in Jewish religious tradition and parts of it have been declared a nature reserve.The village of Meron and the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai are on Mount Meron. Leading up to the anniversary of his death on Lag BaOmer, thousands of people camp out along the slopes near the tomb, and on Lag B’Omer itself, hundreds of thousands make pilgrimages to celebrate the occasion.”
