Carter Fox and Damn Stargazers want to energize our souls with transportive new single, Telescopes & Wavelengths

As huge fans of Carter Fox, as soon as we heard that the visionary composer had released the brand new Telescopes & Wavelengths, we couldn’t wait to immerse ourselves in the track and share our experience.

Setting the tone with an expansive synthscape showcasing rising and textured percussion detailing and vocal nuances, Carter Fox opens Telescopes & Wavelengths with his signature atmospheric energy and an almost tropical-celestial vibe which has us feeling like we are on a beach in outer space.

The opus expands with instrumental mastery to take us on a luscious and magnetic journey as the composer delivers astral depth and hypnotic trip-hop adjacent vocals to take us on a galactic journey.

We learn that Telescopes & Wavelengths came together during a collaborative recording session between Carter Fox and Damn Stargazers, also known as Dan Morrell.

The result is a luscious, yet chill and downtempo experience, described as “blurring the line of lo-fi and synthwave”, designed with the intention to invite us to “look up at the night sky and wonder what is out there.” Carter says, “the groovy bass lines and hypnotic synth hooks will both relax you body and energize your soul”, and we have to agree!

We appreciate the out of body experience that is a result of the composition and the transportive nature of Carter Fox‘s vision. We have added Telescopes & Wavelengths to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Carter’s growing discography!
