Our search for progressive, cruelty-free, vegan brands has continued to unearth fruitful results, and the latest brand to make it onto our radar is Heath London.
Heath London features a sleek and timeless racing green aesthetic, with an exceptional product range to match. We learn that Heath was founded in 2017 and built on the premise that “the urban man demands more from his grooming routine; protection against environmental aggressors and a moment to rebalance.” They tell us, “We’re on a journey to reframe skincare as a wellness moment. That’s why we built a range of fuss-free, natural products with mood boosting benefits.”
All of the products are made locally in England, and powered by only the strongest active ingredients. The products are free from parabens, sulphates and microbeads, and suitable for vegans and not tested on animals!
Speaking on the inception of the brand, co-founder Harry Aaronson confesses, “I founded Heath with my father after a game of squash. Both based in London, I was working in real estate and my dad was busy building a personal care brand. It’s safe to say, we were both ‘urban men’, time poor and always on the go. We found that we craved that moment to escape the city intensity, our weekly squash game would became a therapeutic way of detaching.”
He continues with depth, “One Sunday in October, dad and I had just finished a game. The conversation shifted to Men’s Skincare. It was a limited conversation which arrived at a simple conclusion – simple, well designed products that protect men from the city environment and leave you feeling great don’t exist. Armed with the brief, I set off.”
“The goal from that point onwards was to offer protection for the urban man. Functional products that work to protect his skin, but also normalising a skincare routine that had a positive impact on the mind.”
We have been testing the range, including the Face Wash, Protect Serum and Moisturiser. The products are invigorating, refined and super effective, leaving skin feeling immaculate and protected!
