San-Zo shares dynamic and dimensional new composition, Illusion

Setting the tone with an evocative piano performance with compressed background percussion, San-Zo opens Illusion with intrigue and passion. The opus expands with clarity in the production, whilst we are hypnotized by the charismatic nature of the piano performance, to unveil an emotive strings arrangement.

We appreciate the dimensional and dynamic nature of the composition, at first lending itself to a creative passion, and eventually evolving with precision to take us on an immersive and transcendental journey.

The piano disappears briefly as we experience a meditative respite, before returning with the original charisma and boldness that we first experienced, sending us full circle.

Speaking on the composition, San-Zo, who is also known as Oliver confesses, “This was composed over several weeks, I wanted to store a maximum of feeling, of emotion, which gives a reading on several levels of this track.”

He adds, “One can feel lightness in it in duel with the current gravity, of nostalgia in harmony with a feeling of deja vu to conclude on a new cycle.”

We appreciate the uniqueness and depth that San-Zo creates with, and have added Illusion to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream San-Zo‘s wider discography including his album, R.I.P. Paradise.
