Lazywall return with another anthemic and intentional single, Dem 3la Dem

We have been intently following the rise of Lazywall, and recently featured their debut and sophomore singles, so when we heard that the masterful trio had returned with Dem 3la Dem, we were curious to say the least.

Dem 3la Dem opens with an elegant and intricate Moroccan guitar performance, leading into an evocative and emotive vocal performance, and needless to say, we are already in awe.

The opus expands with intentional depth to take us on an informative journey with the theme of climate change, and what we can do to make a change on Earth in honour of those from whom we inherited the planet and the ones we leave behind.

The build of the track is magnificent, with textured drums, cerebral guitars and a nu-metal meets alternative rock hybrid energy. The ebbs and flow are divine, and the overarching result is a passionate, and dimensional experience designed to open our hearts and minds.

Lazywall was formed in Reading, England by brothers Nao, Youssef and Monz who had relocated from Tangier to go to university in the UK. They cite influences including Led Zeppelin, Audioslave and System Of A Down, as well as Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, which we can certainly feel come though in their energy.

We learn that the brothers set out to explore drop D tunings and roots music with a mission to connect the oud with the rock guitar, establishing a new musical trade route from the Orient to the Occident. We love the vibe that the create, which really tugs on our heart strings.

Naturally, we have added Dem 3la Dem to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream their growing discography, and anticipate new material from the rising stars.
