Dax returns with impactful and evocative new release, God’s Eyes

Our obsession with Dax grows with every listen, so when we heard that the visionary artist had released God’s Eyes, we were curious to hear his latest perspective!

We love how Dax is unafraid to reference source energy in his work, which allows him to channel the universe in his thoughts and songs, often resulting in high calibre releases, and God’s Eyes is no exception.

Setting the tone with an enigmatic and intimate guitar soundscape and textured riser leading into a luscious and dimensional bassline, Dax opens God’s Eyes with evocative prose as he sings, “I’ve never God’s Eyes, but I seen the devil’s, he walks with man on Earth at different levels, he knows the king we serve, so hates and meddles, and prays that we all burn and turn to rebels…”

The opus expands to touch on themes that are not unfamiliar to Dax‘s universe, including temptation by the devil, and his mostly unwavering connection with God.

His flow is out of this world, and naturally, God’s Eyes comes with a powerful music video where we see a blindfolded Dax crowned in an ethereal setting before walking through an apocalypse and encountering dark figures.

It concludes with the star atop a small mountain, with written text documenting the journey of humanity and inspired by “the current state of our world.” Needless to say, we are in awe, and the quality of Dax’s product truly stands out!

With an incoming EP and tour, we cannot wait to experience more from Dax, meanwhile, we have added God’s Eyes to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the exquisite wider discography from the star!
