Speaking on the release, Rusty Reid confesses, “I wrote Our Love’s With You for my younger sister upon her graduation from high school and leaving for college.”
The star delivers vocals and guitars, whilst multi-instrumentalist Jed Demlow, from Nashville, shares his skill on the keyboard. The track itself is taken from Rusty’s album, Bayou Line (Songs from Houston).
Our Love’s With You features a cohesive tapestry of sound, and a level of instrumental mastery that is simply out of this world. The instrumental solo and harmonies are exquisite, and fans of The Beatles, and Elliot Smith will absolutely be able to connect with Rusty Reid, although there is no doubt that he is creating a universe of his own.
