Nobody’s Wolf Child takes us on a dark wave, subversive trip with new single, Human Remains

Our obsession with Nobody’s Wolf Child is only growing, and we have been intently following her rise over the last year. When we found out that the star had returned with a brand new single, titled Human Remains, we were curious to say the very least!

Setting the tone with ASMR-style whispers with dark themes, Nobody’s Wolf Child opens Human Remains with intrigue and subversion. The opus evolves with a dimensional bassline as the star sings assertively, “You don’t know what you’re fighting for, you don’t even know the game…”

We learn that Human Remains serves as the debut of the “Wolf Comanche”, which the artist explains is “one of the nine wolves that walk in the shadows alongside the Wolf Child. A figure of stoic wisdom and justice, the track embodies a sense of observation and dismay as he witnesses humanity embroiled in its own internal conflicts. Like a disturbed and maddened wolf, Humanity maims itself, blinded to the truth and deaf to its own destruction.”

We always appreciate the profound and philosophical themes that Nobody’s Wolf Child shares with her artistry, and the tangible depth of her growing body of work, and the visionary universe that she is creating. The choral harmonies are exquisite, and the ebbs and flows showcasing a dark rock energy and ethereal moments are refined and dynamic, as the artist shares her wisdom through her prose.

Speaking on the release, the British artist confesses, “This record paints a haunting portrait of a lost and rootless people desperately seeking solace amidst a world consumed by greed, petty lust, and self-hate. Their dreams and passions twisted into a dark undercurrent of hatred, their battles waged not on physical battlegrounds but through a relentless war of words.”

We love what Nobody’s Wolf Child delivers, and we have added Human Remains to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream her wider discography and anticipate future releases from the star.
