PROXOXIE shares defining new sound and teases upcoming album with intricate and dimensional new single, Irrelevent

Drawing us in with a meditative soundscape with industrial nuance and cerebral detailing, PROXOXIE opens Irrelevent with a psychedelic synth, and a showcase of instrumental mastery. Needless to say, we are in awe.

The opus expands with intrigue and dimensionality to take us on a cosmic yet subversive journey through time, space, and the psyche of the talented PROXOXIE as she shares situational prose with a hyperpop adjacent vocal design.

Irrelevant is featured on PROXOXIE‘s upcoming debut album Darling, It Wouldn’t Be a Party Without You… and the star, who has been establishing her artistry for the last three years, describes the track as “The single which defines the turning point for my new sound.”

PROXOXIE continues with depth, “It’s the type of track which can easily get stuck in someone’s head, as I think about the chorus in the most random of settings.”

We learn that Irrelevent was written over six months ago while PROXOXIE was sitting in her kitchen, she confesses, “The lyrics had just come to my brain after a major shift in my life. I was desperate to capture them in a clean sounding mix because of how important they were to me.”

What PROXOXIE is creating feels highly unique and authentic, and we have added Irrelevent to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we anticipate the release of Darling, It Wouldn’t Be a Party Without You… and continue to stream the visionary artist’s wider discography including KILL ME SLOWLY, and DEATH ROW ROMEO.
