By now, you will know of our growing obsession with Baaj & Baaj, having previously featured his emotive ode to our planet, Sweet Earth, and the introspective, dark wave trip, I Can’t Think, so when we heard that he had just released the radio edit of More’n More, we were excited to say the least.
Kicking off with his signature, dimensional indie rock meets alternative pop energy, demonstrating nothing short of instrumental mastery, Baaj & Baaj opens More’n More with intentional and charming prose with reference to his muse.
Psychedelic synths send us astral whilst the star conveys an emotive message, envisioning “a positive future between two lovers”. The opus is designed to “anchor unforgettable memories in the minds of the listeners and leave them with a smile.”
We love the authenticity that Baaj & Baaj shares, and the charm with which he delivers his words. There is a tangible depth and playful nuance to the composition, which we cannot get enough of – in line with the overarching message of the song!
We love the timeless nature of the composition, and we love how Baaj & Baaj is influenced by 1980’s Brit pop and new wave. His innovative artistic approach creates a captivating sonic landscape, where traditional elements blend with contemporary sounds and bold experimentation.
We have added More’n More to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the star’s wider discography including the original version of the song!
