Snakedoctors return with cinematic new video for emotive single, Why Don’t

Over the last few months, we have been following the dedicated and intentional rise of Snakedoctors. Their consistent approach and dynamic releases and visuals have been making quite the impact, and as soon as we heard that they had released Why Don’t, we couldn’t wait to listen and feed back!

Establishing the mood with textured percussion, rolling drums and a moody electric guitar energy, Snakedoctors open Why Don’t with intrigue and immersive depth.

The opus expands with a signature grunge vocal from lead vocalist Wojciech Wypych as he muses, “You told me so many beautiful things, life was supposed to be so great and bright…”

Speaking on the message of the release, the stars confess that Why Don’t is a song about “love and complicated routes within it.” We appreciate the authenticity and poetic prowess that the band convey and the astute and emotionally relatable nature of the themes that they touch upon with their open hearts.

Once again, the composition features the masterful skill of Bush drummer, Nik Hughes, and it was mixed at Osoo Studio in Poland and mastered by Stephen Marcussen in the US.

Naturally, the song comes with a cinematic, narrative-driven music video shot in Poland and Serbia, which brings to life the message of the track perfectly.

Snakedoctors are four friends who started the band in Gdansk, Poland in May of 2020, and Why Don’t is the band’s third single promoting their album Waiting, which we cannot get enough of!
