Sadie Nix returns with cinematic and emotional new ballad, Tell Me

As huge fans of rising artist, Sadie Nix, having featured her inspiring debut, Taylor Case (That Means You), the passionate and assertive, Same Song, and the anthemic and heartfelt single, Oblivious, we couldn’t wait to experience her latest release, Tell Me.

Immersing us with a luscious and dimensional synthscape, Sadie Nix opens Tell Me, with the emotive lyrics, “Tell me now (what) you expect from me, should I just walk away and say I’m sorry…”

We immediately connect with the depth of what `Sadie shares, and the anthemic build of the opus is simply out of this world. The star’s storytelling ability is incredible, and the timeless nature of what she delivers sonically, is tangible.

With reference to the pop ballad, Sadie confesses, “Tell Me was written with a cinematic feel in mind channelling the likes of Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. All the above artists have strong and emotive vocals delivery and impactful song writing and I hope Tell Me demonstrates the same.”

The star continues, “The song is about when you are with someone who you know has feelings for you, you can feel it in your bones, yet they keep you at arm’s length, yet always pulling you back in enough to give you hope and then finally saying to them tell me what I should do because I am falling apart. I think this is relatable on so many levels.”

We learn that Sadie has been working with producer Arthur Pingrey to bring to life her epic sound. For reference, Arthur has not only worked with artists such as Flo Rida and Norah Jones but also has produced music for eight Oscar nominated or winning films! This certainly explains the super refined and high quality output from Sadie Nix!

We have added Tell Me to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue streaming Sadie Nix‘s growing discography, and anticipate future releases from the visionary artist.
