Speaking on the message of the opus, Antony confesses that It’s Always Been You is about “people who stay together”. We love the authenticity that he shares with his songwriting and the bright, hyperpop-EDM hybrid sound that the talented artist delivers.
The composition holds a timeless nature in energy, but showcases a futuristic sense of dimensionality in its design. We learn that the track was created in Antony’s home studio, using Logic Pro X then further mixed and mastered by Paul Jalowiecki!
Speaking on his creative process, the producer from West Malling says, “All my songs start with a synth riff that I like, after experimenting with different sounds. I then build up the mix to its maximum by adding parts. I then take away to varying degrees across the track to add texture and variety.”
