Stutterboy take us on a moody and subversive journey with new single, False Dam

Drawing us in with an immersive and brooding guitar soundscape, Stutterboy open False Dam with a fierce and dimensional energy. The opus expands with a subversive, textured vocal delivery full of poetic prowess and metaphorical constructs. Needless to say, we are mesmerized.

We appreciate the high octane and dark nature of the sonic architecture as Stutterboy take us on an introspective and sometimes haunting journey with their prose and cohesive tapestry of alternative rock.

We learn that False Dam is Stutterboy’s third single to be released from their upcoming full-length album. The band cite a blend of post-punk and 90s psychedelic rock to create their sound, an it is clear that this hybrid vibe is unique to their own design.

The band invite us to close our eyes and picture ourselves standing at the cold shore of a sound in the Pacific Northwest to bring to life the visual element of False Dam, which we deeply appreciate.

The guitar solo is simply out of this world, sending us astral before an anthemic and emotional final reprise. Naturally, we have added False Dam to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Stutterboy including Crossing Over, When You Call Me, and their eponymous debut album, stutterboy.
