Setting the tone with textured vocal add libs, an enigmatic guitar, clicks and a dimensional bass line with a count in, Ozzient opens his action-packed collaborative single, Feelin’ A Vibe with intrigue and a sense of drama.
First up, we experience a verse from Pronto Valid who shares exquisite and thought-provoking flow. We love the glitched vocal nuances, the trap high hats and the choral background vocals which add an immersive nature to the overarching composition.
The choruses are sung by ThisIsClarissaUK who shows off her range and charisma, before Kay9 delivers an expansive second verse taking us on a journey with his prose as he references his energy and his enemies, whilst a sickening guitar performance from Walter takes us through to the next chorus. We deeply appreciate the cohesive tapestry of sound created with Ozzient‘s intricate and masterful production, ThisIsClarissaUK‘s bridge and outro, fused with Walter‘s guitar. Needless to say, we are reaching for the repeat button!
Speaking on his intention for the track, the insanely talented artist from Chicago with Guatemalan descent simply says, “I went in with a goal to make a song that has the potential to get the people dancing at clubs, parties, events, etc.”
With reference to his instrumental mastery, Ozzient confesses, “I have always been passionate about music. I’ve always been a quick learner when it comes to music. [I am] capable of playing the piano, drums, Güira, Tambora, on top of being able to beatbox.”
