Bad Lori cement their dark pop sound with cinematic visual, as they invite us to ride out the… Apocalypse

Drawing us in with astral vocal textures and a dimensional, guitar soundscape, Bad Lori open Apocalypse with intrigue and drama, as they share the evocative prose, “Keep it burning, burning, so the lights keep glowing, glowing… And the money machine makes turns, while we keep feeding it more mistakes...”

The opus expands into a moody alternative pop sound with luscious vocal production, and a subversive bassline that frankly has us in awe. We love the industrial elements, fused with a cinematic vibe, and Bad Lori‘s poetic prowess is profound and thought-provoking.

Apocalypse has a cerebral meditative middle-eight break down, which allows the bassline to really come through, and needless to say we are mesmerized. The Pia Hočevar Mucić directed visual for Apocalypse is equally thrilling, and features outstanding performances from the cast as they invite us to “ride out the apocalypse” with them.

We have added Apocalypse to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Bad Lori‘s debut single, Zvezde.
