melobird takes us on an intricate and expansive trip with new single, Horizon

Setting the tone with astral vocal textures and a pulsating beat, melobird opens Horizon with intrigue and dimensionality. We experience a textured riser with industrial nuance, before we are immersed in a luxurious synthscape.

The opus expands with an orchestral strings arrangement, dynamic vocals and glistening bell detailing, needless to say, we are mesmerized. melobird creates a cohesive and sometimes cerebral tapestry of sound with an anthemic nature. The genre expansive nature of Horizon feels aligned to the boundless philosophy of the name of the track.

The visionary creator tells us, “Horizon is very influenced by the styles of Anjuna, which contains a melodic and uplifting deep house sound”, although it is clear that melobird is creating a universe of his own.

Mid-way though the track, we experience a break down, a meditative reprise, akin to tripping into another dimension. The emotive reconstruction of the track has us in awe for an out-of-this-world final reprise.

Speaking on the intention of the release, the rising star from Yper in Belgium, who is also known as artist Lander Deloffer, confesses, “Horizon is a testament to my passion for creating immersive experiences. As an instrumental house track, it transports listeners to a realm of euphoria.”

melobird continues, “With my background in 3D art, I’ve also created mesmerizing visuals to accompany the track, taking the experience to new heights.”

We are in love with the accompanying visual for Horizon which is in line with the stunning single art, but adds a dimensional element that takes us on a visually inspiring journey. It is no surprise that melobird has already performed at Tomorrowland and Defqon 1, under the alias Outlander, and we deeply appreciate the soundscape that he is creating.

Horizon has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream melobird‘s wider discography including Aurora, and Eyes on You.
