By now, you may have noticed that we are huge fans of ROGUE FX, so when we heard that the talented artist behind the moniker, Andrew Wood, had just released the brand new, American Dream, we couldn’t wait to experience it!
Drawing us in with his signature, immersive synth wave energy, ROGUE FX shares evocative lyricism with reference to the concept of the American Dream, and needless to way, we are enthralled. The opus develops into a cohesive tapestry of sound as Andrew shares metaphorical prose, taking us on a somewhat subversive journey.
Speaking on the release, the star confesses, “American Dream is retrowave synth pop track that unfolds the story of a couples different perspectives of the American Dream, leaving an open ended conclusion for the listener to have their own view if the relationship ultimately survives the couples path to their American Dream.”
We love ROGUE FX unique brand of situational storytelling, he always has well developed narratives which work perfectly with his sonic architecture.
We learn that Andrew has a concept based EP set for release later this year, which we absolutely cannot wait to experience.
