We have been intently following the rise and expansion of Rich Chambers, we aways appreciate his work including the self-reflective and charming, You’re A Nice Guy But…, and the vibrant, I Wonder, so when we heard that the star had just released I’m a Fool for Lovin’ You, we couldn’t wait to listen and feed back.
Immersing us with a timeless rock and roll meets country vibe, Rich opens I’m a Fool for Lovin’ You with an emotive performance, showcasing his passion and vigour. Naturally, we are taken on a journey through the mind and spirit of the artist, as he shares his perspective on love, a specific situationship, and unrequited love. We appreciate the relatability of the piece, and how Rich conjures a sense of evocative nostalgia with his delivery.
With an air of self-awareness, Rich simply asks us, “Who hasn’t loved someone that doesn’t love them back and called themselves a fool for doing so?”
The visionary artist from Vancouver expands, “This song has been percolating within me for many years. I didn’t give it much thought when I first wrote it, but after years of it continually bouncing around my brain with repetitive force that put Disneyland’s ‘It’s a Small World to Shame,’ I figured this song must have something, so I decided to record it. I have to say, I am quite proud of this little ear nugget I have written.”
I’m a Fool for Lovin’ You comes with an epic music video showing Rich perform the song with a dynamic nature and also some great acting scenes, where we see a more introspective side to the multi-faceted being.
We agree that Rich should be proud of his art, and we have added the relatable and intricate I’m a Fool for Lovin’ You to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Rich Chambers‘ wider discography and await future releases from the artist.
