2023 will be recording artist and spiritual revolutionary NEO 10Y‘s seventh year as a vegan. He has a complexed and nuanced journey as an artist who is vegan from anti-vegan media sensationalism, to death threats and bullying. He recently shot a new documentary for Channel 4 called Higher Ground, which sees him along with seven other personalities take psychedelics and discuss the importance of a vegan future. This year he worked with PETA for a think piece on leather and a peaceful stunt against the so-called humane slaughter of animals, and was recently featured in the Future Normal campaign from The Vegan Society, as well as projects for the BBC and National Geographic.
As well as creating meaningful songs to inspire change such as Shortcut To World Peace, Vapid Prophecy and Stan Yourself, NEO 10Y has been lobbying progressive human rights institutions, communities and leading philanthropy organisations to consider a wholly anti-oppression stance, and to align their “humxn rights” with the philosophies of non-violence which includes veganism.
These are already progressive communities, many of which NEO 10Y is already a part of, therefore the are likely to better understand the values of consent and love energy with human beings, so harnessing this ancient wisdom and experience to help sentient beings who are affected by the violence of animal agriculture.
