Emerald Bluffs shares evocative and emotive debut single, All I Need

Setting the tone with elegantly strummed guitar and a charming declaration of love in prose, Emerald Bluffs opens All I Need with emotive energy as he shares the lyrics, “I don’t need no other lovers, she’s the one I see, I love her, all I need is her, all I need is her…”

The opus expands with textured drums into an immersive, soft-band meets indie-pop vibe, as Emerald Bluffs delivers a relatable message of love for his muse.

We learn that All I Need is inspired by the artist, aka multi-disciplinary artist Isaac Michael Harris‘ girlfriend, Reed. The rising star confesses with depth, “I have always struggled with mental health and finding my way, but since meeting her, my life has become happier and more fulfilling. I wanted to share my happiness with others and also wanted to show that with the right person by your side, you can accomplish anything.”

The musician from Bend, Oregon tells us, “I started Emerald Bluffs during the initial quarantine in 2020. I had never played an instrument before, but had picked up the guitar to pass the time and to deal with my deteriorating mental health. Before long I was hooked and had fallen in love with songwriting.”

The cathartic value of the piece is tangible, and we are glad that the artist has found solace in his sound. He continues, “Since then, I have taught myself everything I need to know about music and have spent hundreds of hours pouring myself into songs. All I Need was the first song I had written that I felt could really be something, so I set out to find someone to produce and master it. Before long, I met Wes Luttrell at Wally Opus Records and the rest is history.”

Isaac cites Marcy Playground, Neil Young, The Strokes, The Shins, and 311 as some of his influences, which we can feel come through in All I Need, though it is clear that Emerald Bluffs is creating a universe of his own.

We appreciate the authenticity that Emerald Bluffs shares with his soundscape and words, and have added All I Need to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we anticipate future releases from the talented artist.
