We have been obsessed with the recent releases from Jade Ashtangini, including Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and Heart Touching Moments, so when we heard that the star had released 子猫のようなダンス (Piano Solo), which translates to “Dance Like a Kitty”, we were excited to listen and share our feelings.
Immersing us with an charming introduction, Jade Ashtangini opens 子猫のようなダンス with a somewhat playful energy, as we are drawn into her universe once more.
We appreciate the introduction of the bass notes, which further dimensionalize the composition. We can always count on Jade Ashtangini to deliver expertise on the keys, laced with originality and nuance.
Speaking on the release, the star from Taiwan confesses, “This is by far the cutest solo piano piece I’ve ever written. You‘ll feel very relaxed and joyful when listening to this piece, it has a lot of performance skills, such as staccato, pralltriller, etc., which make the piece very beautiful and cheerful.”
The joy that 子猫のようなダンス exudes is tangible, and we love the intricate details that Jade Ashtangini with her mastery of the instrument. “Dance Like a Kitty” comes in two versions, a piano solo and a duet for cello and piano, which is available on Bandcamp!
