We have been following the expansion of Mira Sthira, with the releases of the ethereal, evocative and inspiring, Weird Girl, and as she took us on an adventure, designed to help us make it through the Winter, with the powerful single, Snow Cave, so when we heard that she had released Let The Armor Go, we couldn’t wait to experience it and feed back.
Immersing us with a riser and atmospheric energy with keys, Mira Sthira opens Let The Armor Go with metaphorical depth as she sings, “It’s time to cleanse my heart and let the armor go…”
We are immediately enthralled by the ethereal nature of the sound design, and appreciate Mira Sthira‘s layered vocals and how enigmatic her performance is, full of charisma and authenticity.
There are moments of the vocal production that taper off with a psychedelic nuance, fused with a luscious strings arrangement, the overall experience is mesmerizing. Speaking on the creative team for the opus, Mira confesses, “With this song I worked with Belkadi for production, Mikheil music for mixing and Steelhouse Mastering. We all met online through music networking groups and websites.”
On the ethos of the track and incredible visual which sees our protagonist deliver an out of this world performance, the talented star says, “I had a dream that I needed to process through music and making a video. The ethos is shadow work, personal healing and love.” She continues, “This song is about cleansing my own heart and letting the armor go that keeps me bound in patterns that cause myself pain. It is about looking at oneself rather than just blaming others for my own circumstances.”
We have added Let The Armor Go to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Mira Sthira‘s wider discography, and await future releases from the visionary artist.
