Novak takes us on an introspective trip with emotive single, You Don’t Love Me No More And I Can Tell

Drawing us in with atmospheric vocals and an immersive guitar soundscape, Novak opens You Don’t Love Me No More And I Can Tell with vulnerable lyricism and an evocative melody.

The opus expands with depth and an introspective nature, as our protagonist shares the title of the track in an emotional manner, accompanied by a melancholic, cohesive tapestry of sound; needless to say, we are hypnotized.

Speaking on the meaning of You Don’t Love Me No More And I Can Tell, Novak confesses, “This single is about watching your partner lose love [for] you. As time passes by you realize that maybe its the comfort of a person being there that they enjoy instead of the love in a relationship. You can see that their words don’t match their emotion or actions.”

We deeply appreciate the relatable nature of You Don’t Love Me No More And I Can Tell, and connect with the poetic prowess and tangible emotion that Novak shares with his prose.

Novak cites Fidlar, Interpol, Nirvana, Santana, Hombres G, and Together Pangea as some of his influences, although it is clear that the talented artist is creating a universe of his own. We particularly love the reference to the Michel Gondry film, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which fits the narrative of the song perfectly.

You Don’t Love Me No More And I Can Tell has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Novak‘s EP, 7 MONTHS in full!
