We recently featured Lucid Evolution as they took us on a transcendental trip with new single, Moments, so when we heard that they had also released, Wild Soul, we couldn’t wait to experience it!
Drawing us in with their signature immersive soundscape with cymbal textures, drums and an enigmatic guitar performance, Lucid Evolution open Wild Soul with ethereal vocal design, and wisdom-laced lyricism.
Speaking on the nature of the release, the rising band from Richmond confess, “Wild Soul is about being in a relationship and loving all aspects of that person and finding out that you mirror each other and learning to love yourself in the process.”
We can always count on Lucid Evolution for philosophical depth with a touch of psychedelia, and that is exactly what Wild Soul offers, as singer Lynne Holloman shares her soul and perspective.
The guitar solo is simply out-of-this-world, and we are in awe of the high octane yet simultaneously meditative drums that follow. Lucid Evolution deliver intricate architecture with their releases, and we can only imagine how epic it would be to experience them live!
Fans of Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac, and Portishead will definitely be able to connect with Lucid Evolution, but there is no doubt that what they are creating is wholly unique, and we appreciate the cosmic tapestry of sound that the weave.
