It has been a creatively abundant year for Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L with the releases of T.D.I.M, B.E.C, Ring The Bell, and Aquarius, so when we learnt that the super star had also released, Big Monster, we couldn’t wait to experience it.
Enticing us with a vibrant synthscape, the talented artist from Brooklyn opens Big Monster with the lyrics, “Big Monster, imposter, call a doctor, I gotcha, ayahuasca, I watched her, baby monster, here’s your Oscar…”
We love the way that Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L has the lyrical versatility to tap into the spiritual realm, relationship concepts and metaphors all at the same time. His prowess is tangible and we appreciate his depth as an artist.
Speaking on the meaning of the song, he confesses, “It’s a rage record about trying to break through the love matrix. I finally snapped, I needed to let the rage out…”
Never short of fresh and fierce imagery, Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L is the real deal creatively. His output is on one hundred, and his narratives are exquisite. It is worth remembering that it was after Breon was involved in a drag racing accident that he found himself questioning his path and became intensely focused on his music, spending hours upon hours in the studio.
It is clear from his lyricism and brand as an artist that the accelerated spiritual awakening has allowed Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L to express himself in such high concept prose.
We have added Big Monster to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L‘s wider discography including T.D.I.M, B.E.C, Ring The Bell, and Aquarius.
