Nobody’s Wolf Child returns with empowering self-referential opus, Big Bad Wolf

It has been a great year creatively for Nobody’s Wolf Child, with the releases of The Fall, The Devil’s Gold, the enigmatic and emotive, Lost Among the Pines, and the cinematic and immersive, Green Fires, so when we heard that the talented rising artist had just released Big Bad Wolf, we couldn’t wait to experience it!

Drawing us in with a rising, pulsating synth, Nobody’s Wolf Child opens Big Bad Wolf with subversion and intrigue, showcasing textured vocal details as she whispers, “The strength of the pack is the wolf, the strength of the wolf is the pack…”

“Call me savage, you won’t get the coup de grâce from me, indiscriminate killer, why take one when there’s three, I’m the big bad wolf…“, sings Nobody’s Wolf Child as the opus evolves with cerebral melodic nuance to create a cohesive and hypnotizing tapestry of sound. The British star shares metaphorical prose with a sense of empowerment as she embodies the fierce and carnivorous creature.

As with all of Nobody’s Wolf Child‘s releases, we are in awe of her prowess and assertive nature. She shares an evocative energy and powerful affirmations that hold a transcendental edge. The soundscape is exquisite and dimensional, and we deeply appreciate the trip that she takes us on, almost a full circle moment with a self-referential nod to her moniker in the message track.

Big Bad Wolf comes with another out-of-this-world music video directed by Chris Jones with a trippy and iconic film-noir VFX edit, and a mesmerizing performance from our favourite protagonist.

We have added Big Bad Wolf to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Nobody’s Wolf Child‘s existing discography on loop!
