AC Breeze releases intricate and emotive swan song, monotone

Setting the tone with immersive keys, the sound of fireworks and meditative vocal textures, AC Breeze opens monotone with a soundscape crescendo, before singing with wisdom, “The sun sets, but it don’t die…”

The opus expands with a luscious and dimensional vocal mix to unveil an indie-pop meets soft-rock hybrid soundscape which holds a sense of nostalgic futurism.

Laced with poetic prowess, AC Breeze takes us on a transcendental journey with monotone as the artist sings about “a relationship gone stale, with one of the partners not believing it to be possible.”

We also learn that this is AC Breeze‘s swan song, as he confesses, “I’ve been using the moniker for ten years now (since I was thirteen and started making music). I’ve decided to retire the name to focus more on my band OpenTAB and this is the final song. It feels melancholy but still maintains an optimistic bounce regardless of the numbing themes of the song.”

We appreciate the depth and authenticity that AC Breeze shares with his soundscape and final release, as well as his intricate flow, and the fact that he chose to release it on 11.11, allowing him the chance to manifest new beginnings with his bad, and look forward to his future releases with OpenTAB.

monotone has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we anticipate future releases from OpenTAB and continue to stream AC Breeze‘s existing discography, which we hope will stay online!
