Skar de Line releases epic and orchestral new opus, No Eyes In Paradise

We recently featured Skar de Line for his cinematic video and bold new opus, Reset, as well as his single, New Silhouettes, so when we learnt that he had just released the brand new No Eyes In Paradise, we couldn’t wait to experience it!

Drawing us in with epic and anthemic, choral vocal textures, Skar de Line opens No Eyes In Paradise with a sense of ethereal dimensionality and we are stunned.

The opus boldly expands with percussive details, orchestral hits and an industrial bassline as Skar de Line sings evocatively, “I’ve got this presentation that will surely blow your mind, this is an invitation to a god-damn paradise…”, and indeed, our minds are blown.

We love the drama and subversive energy that Skar de Line shares with his highly unique creations, and No Eyes In Paradise is no exception. Marking the third chapter in Skar de Line’s autobiographical suite of music it is full of iconic choruses and hard-hitting beats.

We learn that his profound and introspective lyricism comes from “his internal struggle with his own nihilism, and the urge to understand himself.”

No Eyes In Paradise comes with another iconic music video, picking up where the last visual left off, as Skar de Line takes us on an epic CGI adventure into the paradise he created. This is due for release on November 17!

Throughout the video, Skar de Line recreates and inhabits some of the most renowned works of art throughout history, including renaissance paintings such as The Last Supper (Leonardo Da Vinci), The School Of Athens (Raphael), and Saint Jerome Writing (Caravaggio). Paintings that, while being very influential, also brought up ideas of humanity and questions of wanting more. The hero’s journey terminates with the main character stepping out of his painted paradise with the realization that this isn’t enough and that out there, there is something more.

We have added No Eyes In Paradise to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Skar de Line‘s wider discography including Satisfied and In Charge.
