1:33AM takes us on an electro-grunge hybrid trip with evocative new single, Numbers In The Sky

One of our favourite rising artists 1:33AM just released their brand new single, Numbers In The Sky. We have been obsessed with 1:33AM for quite some time, deeply immersing ourselves in their tracks, Internal Destruction, Fallen Angel, more recently OOZE and 555, needless to say it’s been a great year for the talented artist from Coachella Valley.

Numbers In The Sky opens with moody grunge guitar, reminiscent of Nirvana or even Sevdaliza‘s recent release, High Alone. The enigmatic artist sings, “In the end, love can only co-exist, and if we fell from the stars, we don’t need time to tell us how far…”, and we are hypnotized.

The opus is laced with depth and poetic prowess, and we are in awe of 1:33AM‘s vocal timbre and charm fused with the dark-wave meets electro-grunge sonic landscape.

Speaking on the release, the artist confesses on social media, “I wanted this song to represent my trip I had, there were things that I’ve seen that I could not explain, beings I felt that I still to this day cannot comprehend. I put my experience into this song. On the edge of psychosis mixed with science and spirituality you’re going to want to sit down for this.”

We appreciate the authenticity with which 1:33AM presents the composition, and the self referential elements in the numerology of the lyricism, as 1:33AM cements their moniker with their prose. The dimensionality of the pitched vocals is transcendental and the performance of the guitar instrumentation is simply out of this world, in line with the artist’s wider discography, which we have on repeat!

We have added Numbers In The Sky to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Internal Destruction, Fallen Angel, OOZE and 555!
