Nana Kottens releases ode to Ghana and past love with new single, One More Chance

We recently featured Nana Kottens for his emotive single and video, Mama Don’t Give Up, so when we heard that the rising star had just released One More Chance, we couldn’t wait to experience it!

Establishing the mood with elegant and intricate acoustic guitar and a pulsing beat, Nana Kottens opens One More Chance with his signature flow and the situational yet introspective lyrics, “Never thought I was gonna run into you, I never thought I was gonna talk to you again…”

The opus expands with charm, charisma and luscious harmonies into a meaningful plea as Nana Kottens sings the evocative hook, “Give me one more chance…”. Speaking on the release, Nana Kottens confesses, “One More Chance is an apologetic song asking a loved one for forgiveness.”

The artist reflects on meeting a longtime girlfriend, the good old days, and ambitions he shared with the girlfriend. He also reflects on his country of birth, Ghana, West Africa, indicating he is an immigrant and in love with a native in a foreign land.

We love the journey that Nana Kottens takes us on, and the poetic prowess that he shares with this authentic tale. One More Chance has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Nana Kottens‘s wider discography including Say No and Call Girl.
