Self-described as “raunchy and energetic”, which we couldn’t agree more with, Nakele tells us that the record is “perfect for working out at the gym, or working it at the club”. We appreciate the sentiment and concur. The minimalist breakdown before the final reprise is simply out of this world.
Speaking on his influences, Nakele confesses, “At first I was influenced by artists such as Billie Eilish, Issac Dunbar and others, but now I try my hardest to be original in any way I can. That means using my own sound and being authentic in everything I do”, and there is no doubt that Nakele is indeed creating a universe of his own, and we are here for it!
