Stella Paris sets the scene with situational lyricism based inside a night club as she takes us on a charismatic journey with the muse of her composition being her “electrifying hips”, and a love connection.
In terms of her hyperpop adjacent soundscape with elements of futuristic pop, Stella Paris reminds us of a hybrid between M.I.A., The Venga Boys, and Charli XCX, although there is no doubt that the rising artist from the West Midlands in the United Kingdom is creating a universe of her own.
Speaking on the release, Stella Paris confesses, “Electrifying was inspired by a real static kiss in a London supermarket. It represents female empowerment and has super hero power vibes.”
She adds with depth and intention, “I hope Electrifying serves to help empower people, and brings them a spark of joy and makes them dance. Several songs and artists have helped me through depression and tough times and I want to be able to return that gift to someone else.”
We appreciate the sentiment and cannot get enough of the music video for Electrifying which features Stella Paris deliver a cosmic and avant-garde whilst plugged in to a wall, sparking electricity, with elf ears in a living room and wearing a lightning print dress.
