Bri Schillings and Sweet Imperfections releases powerful and inspiring new single, Wings

Setting the tone with a dynamic piano performance, Bri Schillings, now also known as Sweet Perfections (with her new band!), opens Wings with the empowering lyrics, “I’m gonna give you wings, gonna teach you to fly…”

The opus expands into a luscious timeless energy, full of poetic prowess and charm as Bri sings, “I’m gonna raise you up, like you’ve never been before…”, inspiring the listener at every step!

The orchestral build of Wings aligns with the concept of expansion, and we are in awe of the climactic strings, dimensional drums and the emotive nature that allows us to transcend this reality and join Bri on her soaring journey as she sings, “I’m gonna use this voice to inspire you, to use yours…”

We are always grateful for conscious artistry, designed to uplift with a cathartic and healing approach to song writing, and we learn that this is also the start of a two year project where Bri will be releasing one single every month, amplifying her message!

Sweet Imperfections is led by Bri Schillings and a collective of Southern California’s most talented musicians and writers. We also learn that from a child Bri was drawn to music early, feeling the connectivity and energy between nature and sound.

Bri understands love energy knows that music has the power to heal through what she calls “soul vitamins”, and has a profoundly strong connection to music and emotion.

She confesses, “The freedom I discovered when I began to sing and write original songs not only became an outlet for the most challenging times in my life, it was my best friend, when there was no one else to turn to, music held me, inspired me, healed me, music loved me and taught me how to love myself. I write, sing and play songs that are born from the heart. They are not just of me but through me and I want music to be the conduit of heart vibrations that heal myself and hopefully others.”

We love the message that Bri is sharing with Sweet Imperfections, and have added Wings to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we explore her wider discographies!
