Dani Twice delivers introspective and surrealist new single, BLACK CAT

It’s been an incredible year of growth for Dani Twice, with the releases of JUMP, BAG MAN, SAD BOY and his appearance on Silent D‘s Needin’ Reason, so when we heard that the rising star had just released BLACK CAT, we couldn’t wait to experience it!

Drawing us in with cerebral textures and percussion details, with intricately overlaid Spanish narration, Dani Twice opens BLACK CAT with a dynamic nature and atmospheric vocals delivering conceptual and situational opening lyrics.

The opus expands with Dani’s signature flow as he confesses to being a BLACK CAT in a past life. With lyricism full of metaphors, we are always in awe of Dani’s intelligent and self reflective prose. Speaking on his unique artistry, Dani simply says, “I’m a Latin Hip-Hop artist working on my own sound and talking about things maybe others don’t talk about…”

BLACK CAT is Dani Twice‘s seventh single from his, yet untitled, first album, and he describes is as a “deep reflection about life, death, and karma.” The narrative paints a “vivid picture about the life of an unlucky black cat, and it’s encounter with the grim reaper.”

We are here for Dani Twice‘s authenticity and profound artistry, and have added BLACK CAT to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream all six previous singles!
