Caracol teams up with Mike Clay on inspiring ode to freedom, Infinity

Setting the tone with a glistening guitar and cute whistle tones, Caracol opens her collaborative single Infinity with Mike Clay with charm and a polished soundscape.

We love the vocal design and how the hybrid reggaeton pop energy fuses with super catchy hooks as the duo take us on a trip to freedom. We appreciate the poetic prowess, how Caracol and Mike Clay (from band Clay & Friends) vibe with each other is tangible.

The pair worked with beatmakers Quiet Mike (Fouki) and Seb Ruban (Studio de l’Est) to create a “cheerful hymn to adventure that is sure to bring a smile to your face”, and they have succeeded.

It is just the energy we need in the current climate, and has certified hit potential. Inspired by Montreal’s summer vibe they had one goal, “to make crowds dance and elevate them to a state of absolute feel-good!”, and we can definitely see this coming to life!

Infinity comes with a vibrant and energising video full of great cinematography that adds value to the listening experience, and truly has us hypnotized.

Caracol is a bilingual artist who walks her own path. Born to an Uruguayan father and a Swiss mother, the Montreal-based songwriter-producer was recently nominated at the Canadian Indie Awards (Electronic Artist of the Year). She received several prizes and nominations over the course of her career: GENIE, JUNO, FELIX, MIROIR, GAMIQ, etc.

We love her vibe and this expansive and conscious collaboration with Mike Clay and have added Infinity to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we explore the wider catalogues of both artists!
