Stefan Dando releases emotive and profound sophomore single, Loser Anatomy

Establishing the mood with a dreamy and glistening indie-pop meets soft-rock soundscape, Stefan Dando opens Loser Anatomy with charm, dimensionality and the vulnerable lyrics, “It’s time to tell me that losers like me, don’t really remind you of the love that you seek…”

The opus expands into a meaningful and intricate song about “being rejected and the song has a bit of a curse around it.” It’s Stefan Dando’s second single, and speaking on the release, he confesses, “At every stage of creating the song I have been rejected by someone I really liked and admired. So that’s a rejection that spurred me to write it, when I went to record it, when I had it mastered, when I had the artwork made and when I announced it. The only reason I haven’t been rejected by someone on release is because I didn’t put myself in a situation to be.”

We appreciate the introspection that Stefan Dando shares with Loser Anatomy, and his poetic prowess as he conveys his emotions and allows us to deeper understand his soul. We love his vocal range and the passion and charisma that the East Londoner performs with.

Stefan Dando cites City and Colour, Panic! At The Disco, Sara Bareilles, and Fleetwood Mac as inspirations, which we can feel come through in his art, but there is no doubt that he is creating a universe of his own!

We learn that Loser Anatomy was recorded at 121 Studios in London, and features production by Andres Mesa and Omar Ríos Meléndez on additional guitar and bass. Loser Anatomy has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Stefan Dando‘s debut single, Love Doesn’t Need Me.
