Allusia and Eureka O’Hara release dimensional, high art and hedonistic visual for Party Rhino

We recently featured iconic drag superstar, Allusia for her multi-genre, conceptual EP, Animal Nature, so when we heard that her single, Party Rhino, which features Drag Race All Star Eureka O’Hara, was set to come with a music video, we were thrilled to say the least!

Now before we get into the visual delight, directed by Brad Hammer, let’s recap on what Party Rhino is all about! It’s the opening track on the Animal Nature EP, where Allusia sings, “I am the party, the party Rhino”, as she delivers fierce and unapologetic lyricism about crashing parties and rampaging bodies, with a dimensional bassline, bold electronica and an industrial pop energy.

The visual for Party Rhino opens with Allusia wearing a constructed, couture rhino shoulder piece with blonde bombshell hair, a face beat to perfection and red vertical lasers. We are hynotized.

The editing is wild, with flipping camera angles, before we then experience Allusia with six dancers, in coordinating outfits as our pop star drag queen protagonist delivers cohesive choreography with a beaming smile.

When the first verse kicks off, we see Allusia in a silver outfit, with a stunning headpiece (pictured above) as she delivers her prose. She spanks a dancer, before we see a change of scene with another set of incredible rhinoceros inspired outfits, as the camera also unveils Eureka with with horns coming from her mid section, whilst Allusia is in a black and silver metallic outfit, this time with two rhino shoulder pieces!

She flicks her tongue, does rockstar hand symbols, amidst a laser red sea of dancers, before Eureka delivers her verse with the charisma we have learnt to love from the drag icon. More dancers and a body-diverse set of extras are featured in the party scene that the duo just crashed, before the video ends with a comedy twist. All in all it is an animalistic, sex-fuelled jamboree, urging us to let loose and embrace our inner mess.

We have added Party Rhino to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Allusia’s Animal Nature EP in full!
