Immersing us with a luscious synth and atmospheric vocals, Teasley opens Aint No Way with introspective lyrics, referencing a romantic connection.
The track expands into the hook with a vibrant pop meets R&B soundscape featuring bell details and textures percussion as he sings affirmatively, “You still think I’m playing, Aint No Way, I’m giving up on you, can’t stop my heart with no brakes…”
We appreciate the metaphors and poetic prowess of the composition which takes us on a relatable journey as Teasley enforces his feelings and performs with his muse in mind.
Establishing his sound as tropical pop/R&B, Teasley paints an emotive and sun drenched canvas with his artistry, from the sound and harmonies to the accompanying artworks, we are mesmerized.
Citing Pharrell, Frank Ocean and Outkast as some of his influences, we can feel that depth and warmth come through in Teasley‘s sound, although there is no doubt that he is creating a vibe of his very own.
The LA based artist has already released seven singles, this year and Aint No Way marks his eighth! There is no denying the passion and fervour that Teasley creates with, and we have been immersing ourselves in his catalogue!
