Super Saiyan Jay releases assertive and fierce new single, Keep It Direct

We recently featured Super Saiyan Jay as he traversed the binaries of peace and chaos on his single, Let Them Be, so we were thrilled to hear that he had just released the brand new, Keep It Direct.

Establishing a mood with enigmatic and intricate keys, a dimensional riser and a bold and echoing “yeah“, Super Saiyan Jay opens Keep It Direct with the assertive lyrics, “There’s not a thing you can do, yeah, none of you holding me down…”

Fused with a hip-hop trap hybrid soundscape, we are in awe of Super Saiyan Jay‘s flow and message. Speaking on the release, the rising artist from West Palm Beach tells us, “This is my new single Keep It Direct. This song is energetic, bouncy and catchy throughout.”

He adds, “As the artist I’m just having fun and catching a vibe. At the same time I’m addressing things I’m dealing with and bringing them to the light. Because in the song I have no issue stepping on people’s toes and that’s the underlying message that I’m bringing to this new single.”

We really appreciate Super Saiyan Jay‘s introspective lyric, “Why am I so misunderstood, know my intentions are good…”, where the conscious artist shows self-awareness and understands his value simultaneously.

Super Saiyan Jay mentions Lil Wayne, Biggie Smalls, Jada Kiss and Outkast as some of his influences, although we love the unique energy that he brings to his artistry.

We have added Keep It Direct to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we keep streaming Super Saiyan Jay wider discography including Are We Clear and Let Them Be.
