Ozz Gold releases euphoric freedom anthem, Rest of Me

Setting the tone with an enigmatic riser and immersive keys, Ozz Gold opens his single, Rest of Me with the lyrics, “All the time that I’ve spent, all the ways that I’ve bent, trying to live without boundaries…”

Expanding with celestial synth details and powerful drums with intricate percussion into an progressive house meets EDM hybrid production, we are hypnotized by Ozz Gold‘s atmospheric vocals and narrative-style of storytelling.

Speaking on the meaning of the song, Ozz Gold says, “Rest of Me represents leaving behind a circumstance or situation that no long serves you and finally being FREE!”

Ozz expands, “It represents having the strength to leave something that no longer serves you and finally being free!” which comes to a head with the memorable hook, “can’t take the rest of me!”

Elaborating on his background, Ozz confesses, “I started my production journey in Las Vegas after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point.”

He cites Kygo and Alesso as influences and says, “This song is inspired by classic progressive house artists and vocally driven dance music like Kygo, Alesso etc.”, although it is clear that Ozz Gold is creating a universe of his own.

With reference to his future plans, Ozz confirms with passion, “I’ve got three more songs cued up! This is my passion and I’m so excited to get my music out to as many people as possible!”

We cannot wait to hear more from Ozz Gold and have added Rest of Me to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we also stream Unknown by the rising artist from Las Vegas!
