Best of You is a charming R&B cut with euphoric elements, danceability, flawless vocals, guitar solos, panning synths and lyrical wisdom. The bass is dimensional and the overall energy of the song is vibrant, transcendental with elements of nostalgia melodically, and futurism in sound design.
Speaking on the meaning of the track, the duo confess “Best of You is the journey through a turbulent yet passionate relationship. It represents growing out of toxic habits and creating a healthier relationship and wanting the best of someone.”
