Martian delivers intricate and hypnotizing tech house re-work of Lover Boy

Setting the vibe with a pulsing deep house frequency, with intricate panning details and textured vocal samples, we are already hypnotized by Martian’s re-work of Lover Boy, originally by The Temprees.

The vocal production is atmospheric and cohesively immersed in the soundscape, leveraging the nuanced delivery of the original to deliver an anthemic 2022 edit.

Speaking on his intention for the release, Martian says, “I decided to do a cool remix of a classic song. It’s a vibey track with a booming baseline which people can either dance or enjoy listening to while working out.”

The emerging producer born in Compton, California who is now based in San Bernardino has a skillset designed to deliver a variety of soundscapes, as demonstrated by his cover of Lover Boy, which not only does justice to the original, called Love…Can Be So Wonderful, but dimensionalizes it, giving it new life for the club or gym!

Martian has played alongside many great artists within the scene such as Capozzi, Michael Sparks, and OG Nixin and has had support on his music from established artists like Wax Motif, Habstrakt, and DR. Fresch.

You can catch him playing shows all through Southern California and soon across the nation. We have added Lover Boy to our New Music Spotlight playlist and have been exploring the rising artist’s wider discography including My Side and Don’t Chase!
