Red Skies Mourning gives emotive performance on ‘Lost Without You’

A polished and bright plucked guitar immediately dimensionalizes frequency for the recent release from Red Skies Mourning, Lost Without You.

The opening lyrics, “Sparks lit the sky, we used to see eye to eye, intertwined but lost it all, our bad timing, your heart got so damn cold, like I don’t know you anymore…” set the tone for a story of love lost.

A highlight is the infectious and intimate hook, “You’re all I’ve ever wanted, you know I’ve been so lost without you”. We love the emotion and relatability of the narrative driven song.

Speaking on the song, Red Skies Mourning says, “This tune was the first initial song from the entire rebranding of Red Skies Mourning blending multiple genres working with Ryan Curtis and Cesar Da Emperor.”

“Dry your tears, when the world’s crashing down, I’ll be there to pick you up and lift you out” sings the artist in the emotional middle eight, offering escapism in the midst of so much intensity.

We love the rebrand and have been immersing ourselves in Red Skies Mourning‘s existing catalogue including Deep Moonlight, Paralyzed and new single In The Moment. Lost Without You is also featured on our New Music Spotlight playlist.
