nimbustwokay takes us on a paradoxical journey on wabi sabi release, mono no aware

Taking us on a journey from minimalism through to epic expansion, the third single from nimbustwokay’s wabi sabi is titled mono no aware (the most recent release being wabi sabi).

Delivering pure electronica, mono no aware fuses infectious rhythms and driving percussion with hybrid soundscapes created by nimbustwokay in a cottage last summer – you can hear the voices of the artist’s friends recovering from the eve’s acid trip in the background of the track.

The name of the song comes from the Japanese concept which describes the empathy of physical things, a sensitivity for the ephemeral.

We have been completely hypnotised in the immersive and dimensional production from nimbustwokay and are excited about the future for the rising artist from Montreal.

When asked to cite contemporary influences and peers, nimbustwokay references Burial, Four Tet and Nosaj Thing.

In a paradoxical world of ambient synths and heavy basses, nimbustwokay blends genres to create internet-inspired music that serves as a backdrop to all types of vocalists.

His first instrumental solo project wabi sabi (the record, not single) is set to release in a couple months, and so far three songs have been released in addition to mono no aware, which are something real, biutiful and recently the title track wabi sabi.
