Toronto’s Barry Muir finds a muse on “She’s a Little Wildflower”

Opening with a super emotive guitar that sends our pulses racing immediately, Barry Muir sets the tone for his latest single She’s a Little Wildflower, taken from his new album Gentle.

The artist takes us on a creator-muse journey of new and mysterious love with a “wildflower”, who brightens up Barry’s mornings like the sun. The energy is full of lust and Barry has been taken off guard by the enigmatic “wildflower”.

Speaking on She’s A Little Wildflower, Barry says, “The song is about a young woman with a gypsy like attitude and an infectious spirit who comes and goes in and out of people’s lives, breaking hearts along the way.”

The video is playful and cinematic and feature the iconic protagonist and his muse. She’s A Little Wildflower was written by Barry Muir, Joanne Stacey and Lucy LeBlanc and is the second single/video from the album “Gentle”.

Speaking on the themes of the record, Barry says they include “breaking up, knocking the walls down, starting over, healing and even finding yourself alone”. It’s not all sad though, more like a journey of self-realization.

“Gentle” follows Barry’s previous record, “The Wild and Beautiful” which features the single Bending the Strings which garnered radio play in a number of countries worldwide.
